A Matter of Taste
What does something taste like?
What the hell is umami? How do we describe tastes to each other in the absence of a shared language?
"A Matter of Taste" is a shapes and textures to type-based asemic sign system aimed to communicate unique tastes we can differentiate. This project presents two books, posters, and sticker sets.

As a member of the council, I volunteered to take on a few design tasks. We wanted to welcome new students and encourage them to join meetings if they're curious or want to be active and make connections. Taking the flying piglet sculpture in front of our faculty as the council mascot, I then had the idea of illustrating it cutely waving at the people passing by. Simultaneously, the blank space on the door can be scribbled on for fun.

Christmas Market Promotion
A joint effort of all faculty members to organize a Christkindlmarkt on campus. After the pandemic, we wanted to liven up the university again and give students an opportunity to socialize and get creative.
The duo of posters shows two sides of the event.
There's an artist venue where students booked tables and set up booths to sell handmade jewelry, clothing, and prints. On the opposite side, there are many food and drink stalls selling classics like mulled wine and cinnamon sugar crêpes.

Student Party Promotion
The White Lamb is a favorite spot for many young people to relax, work, and throw parties on weekends. The Student Council for the Medical Degree program at the University of Augsburg (Die Universität Augsburg) planned a semester-end celebration in the cafe. The owner then contacted me, and I set out to design the promotion for the event after the briefing. Below is the step-by-step process of my workflow, a different colored version, and other formats for social media. To capture the disco theme, I used splashes of neon colors and a dark background.
